Does my friend deserve death?

ok, yesterday a friend of mine from school came to my house for the first time. He asked my systems I had and I said NES, N64, GB, and GCN. He looked at me like I was insane.

"EW! You still have an old nintendo! That system sucks!"

I told him that I actually quite enjoyed old school games, and that SMB 3 was one of my favorite games.

"Oh my God! I can't believe you like that! That game is $h!t! All you do is walk and jump on things. Man, I thought you'd have a better taste in video games"

So I asked him what games he liked.

"Only games from PSX ans PS2. Every other system sucks! Nintendo games are horrible, and they're made for babies and little kids!"

So he asked me what was my favorite game. I told him Super Mario 64.

"God man. What is wrong with you. That game is for babies. I played it at my cousin's house once and it was SO easy! All the Mario games suck!"

I tried to explain to him that a lot of people like SM64, and SMB, but he would just not believe me. I told him that SMB1 was the best-selling game ever, and this is what he said,

"You're lying! That can't be true! The only good games are sport games, first-shooter games, racing games, and wrestling games! There is no way that horrible game is popular. It's graphics suck!"

So my question to you is, should my friend die?

no one deserves death over a videogame. and its his opinion and not everyone has to like a game.

Opinion or not, this "friend" of yours must have an incredibly bad idea of what a good video game is.

I wouldn't say death, but... he is extemely bigoted, biased and ignorant. SMB and SMB1 were best-sellers in their time, and SMB 3 still costs around 10 to 20 bux at most pawn shops. Sports games, in my opinion, are the worst type of video game around, because sports are meant to be played outside or watched on TV. In fact, prices once again support me. Sports games, especially football and wrestling games, become really cheap really fast and are usually piled high in discount bins. (Go ahead and quote me to your "friend" there, Cheep Fish Baby )
