A while back I posted my idea for a 3-D SMB game, which can be found here:

http://www.vgf.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubbcg...;f=59;t=000025

First I'd like to say in this game I'd like to see the return of classic things like growing big and small, prize boxes, mushrooms, flowers, starmen, and warp pipes that lead into secret rooms with coins.

Now, in my other post I said that you can only use weapons on enemies. I've changed my mind on that. Mario and Luigi can still stomp on minor enemies like Goombas and Koopa-troopas. Infact in this game, they'd have a huge amount of martial arts moves, and different kinds of jumps. You can use weapons and hand moves on minor enemies if you want. On small level bosses you can only use hand techniques, on the Koopa Kids you can only use weapons, and on Wario or Waluigi you can only use hand techniques.

The weapons you'll find lying around on the ground will include different types of guns, swords, bomb-ombs, and on the hardest levels, flamethrowers. I also plan that coins will be used as ammunition for guns.

Mario's power will be like that in SMB 2(western). You will have a power meter. When you get hit, the meter decrease. When it gets more then halfway down, you get small. If you find a mushroom, it will restore all your health and make you super again. If your power meter runs out, your dead.

The story for this game works like this. Bowser has once again kidnapped Peach, and is keeping her captive in her castle. He is using his power to make it impossible for you to warp straight to the castle, so you have to get across the Mushroom Kingdom to get her. He has reconstructed the land, divided into different areas and sectors(levels and worlds) there are 7 worlds with 3-5 levels. You can't get out of a level until you get past a magic door.

The first world is a valley world. It takes place between the grassy lands between 2 huge mountains. These levels aren't too hard. The koopa you face at the end is Morton Jr. The floating island is rocky, and is above the mountains. Morton attacks you with his claws. You will both keep fighting until one of you is dead. Morton has a life meter too. If you fall off the island, you will continue fight on the mountain, and even down on the ground.

The second world is a snow land. The land in it is slippery, making it hard to walk. The Koopa you'll face here is Lemmy. The floating island is slippery, but not as much as the levels. Lemmy will occasionly shoot ice at you that will freeze you, making you unable to move. Though it doesn't kill you, it will make you free givens to Lemmy. Below the island is an ice ring, where it is insanely hard to move. Though you may be able to fight Lemmy here, it is best to stay on the island.

The 3rd world is water. There is one underwater, one that is like the 3D version of the level in SMB 3 where you can't go in the water or else the big fish will eat you, and one where you are in a rain forest, and it's hard to stand-up because it's raining on you. The Koopa you'll face is Larry. It is raining on the floating island, again making it hard to stand-up. Larry will shoot out water, that can send you flying off the island. Below you is a lake of water, and the big fish is inside, so you better swin fast to the land around the lake where the match will continue. If Larry falls in the lake, he will just jump up back to the island and continue the match.

the 4th world is a dessert world(though on of the levels is more like a beach). The hardest level is the one where the sun comes down from the sky and tries to attack you. This time you face Iggy. The island is just plain sand, not making it hard to move around. Though a tornado will be passing through the island every once in a while that can sweep you off your feet. Below the island is endless quick sand. Luckily, the Island is only about a foot above it, so if you're fast you can get back on the island.

The 5th world is a sky world. It is mostly in levels up in the clouds. This isn't too hard, except for the level where you can't stand on the clouds. In this world you'll face Wendy. The island is just plain. It is in the sky far away from land. Wendy can make a fog that temporally blind, giving Wnedy free time to attack you. If you fall, you'll either fall to you death, or land on a cloud where the match will continue.

The 6th world is a Giant World. In it all the enemies are larger then you. Pretty hard. You face Ludwig. The island is plain here. Ludwig has a magic wand and if he zaps you with it you'll shrink and he'll step on you. If you fall off, you die.

The last world is a spacey type thing. It is dark and has stars all around. The main difficulty about this is find a place to stand up on, and flying enemies constantly harrasing you. You face Roy, who is covered in spikes, so you can't get near him. Again, if you fall off, your dead.

After you beat him, you go to Peach's castle. You'll find it looks almost exactly like the one in SM64, only without the paintings. You have to find where Bowser is keeping the princess. There are signs and mushroom men that will give you hints at where it is. But be careful, some of the signs are fake, and some of the Toads are imposters from Bowser(but you can tell the difference in there clothes color). There will be alot of traps, and they will lead you to hard mini-games.

When you finally find Bowser's hidden room, you find it is locked! So now you much find the hidden key. When you do and come back, Wario or Waluigi is waiting to fight you. If you lose, the key gets hidden somewhere else.

After you beat the game, you'll find 4 new games you will be able to play! Mario Tennis, Paper Mario, Mario Party 2, and Mario Golf. And the great thing is, after you beat one of those games, a new game becomes available to play. But the bad thing is, once you get a new game, the old game gets erased, and you can only play it again if you start a new file. Here is the list of every game you will be able to play:

Super Smash Bros, Mario Party 1, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario RPG, Yoshi's Island, Dr Mario, Wario Land, Yoshi's Safari, Super Mario World, Mario's Time Machine, Mario Is Missing, Mario & Wario, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario Land 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario Land, Super Mario USA, Super Mario Bros Lost Levels, Wrecking Crew, Super Mario Bros, Mario Bros, Donkey Kong jr, Donkey Kong.

Yes, that is my idea for the perfect Mario game. Unfortunately, no current system could probably do this much.

I told you, it is not a rip-off! I never even read that post! I had this idea too! Damn it, I didn't steal it. Sure the game play sounds similar, but is the plot similar!?!
