My story on the Mario Timeline

First Mario and Luigi's Parents immigrated to the United States from Italy. After a long time Mario got a job as a carpenter and Luigi as a plumber.
One day Mario was at a construction site when a fierce Gorilla named donkey kong escaped from the zoo and kidnapped Marios girlfriend, Pauline and took her to the very site that Mario was working on ! After the incident Pauline broke up with Mario for not saving her sooner.Well,Mario brought Donkey to Africa where he planned to eat Donkey Kong. DK. Jr. came and saved his father. DK Jr. soon became the famous Diddy. When Mario came back to Brooklyn he was in a deep denial...He lost his girlfriend and dinner! Pretty soon he stopped showing up for work and was fired as a carpeter. Luigi said that Mario could come work with hom as a plumber. Four happy years as a plumber and then... mysteriously they were warped into Mushroom kingdom through their sink!

Mario wants to eat Donkey Kong? Mario didn't grow up in the Mushroom Kingdom? Donkey Kong Jr. grows up to be Diddy Kong? Sorry, but you got too many facts wrong.

One more thing, what in the hell made you think that Mario would eat an ape? Pasta's his thing!

Hey it's not that wrong... Just kind of ovbious things really though. And also it has some artistic liberties. There's no proof that Luigi was a plumber beforehand (SMRPG says otherwise), or that Mario had a big breakup with Pauline (for all we know he was sucked into the Mushroom Kingdom while they were still going out).

And yeah, Mario eat the ape? And why does he have to go to Africa to do that?

In some old cartoon specials (predating the Super Show) Mario was neither a construction worker or plumber, he was Donkey Kong's circus trainer. (not to confuse anyone, and besides that doesn't have to fit into a timeline at all). And there's 'Wrecking Crew' as well! Mario is a demolition worker, and Luigi (who is not mentioned as being his brother at all) is a man with a beard from a rival company sabatoging Mario's work!

Yep, Cranky Kong is the original DK. It's actually unexplained if Cranky's son or grandson is DK from DK Country and further... don't tell your opinions to me on that subject! There's no proof as to whether DK is the grandson or son (actually we're only going by namesake that they're related at all).
Besides that, Diddy is a different species. You know who really frightens me though? Candy Kong (shudders). A female ape with the physique of a human woman, that's scary as hell.

There's also a bit of theorizing that went on into whether or not they were born in Italy or Brooklyn... I think it was ultimately decided that if you take into account the cartoons, Mario and Luigi were born in Italy before their family moved to Brooklyn.

Where do you get that they come from the Mushroom Kingdom Batman? They're not even Mushroom People (Princess Peach Toadstool is special... she's a princess so maybe that's why she got the extra tall and hair genes)(please disregard my last statement about Toadstool, talking about her Mushroom controversy is for another topic).

I enjoyed the storyline and for the most part it wasn't bad.

I personally believe that Pauline went on to become Daisy of Sarahasla (now I know I messed that up.)

SMW2 shows them being carried by a stork in the Mushroom Kingdom, so most people just assume they were born there before somehow being transferred to our world.

I remember that... them being pulled down the woman's tub was at the start of the Super Show right?

The SMB instruction manual doesn't explain where the got sucked down I think. People don't usually realise how well the arcade game 'Mario Bros.' is a great prequel to SMB. Mario and Luigi go into sewers to discover why there's plumbing problems... only to discover monsters coming out! Anybody can realize (from SMB) that these monsters are actually coming from the Mushroom Kingdom, being warped into our world. Perhaps Mario and Luigi got sucked in then... or perhaps it would just give them a mystery until they were sucked in later.
