I thought I was very funny. After the forum template changed there were a bunch of people complaining, and the little joke eventually turned into a rumour.

It wasn't funny because I knew that it wasn't true from the beggining? Why the hell would Sony want Mario? Microsoft would be more likely to buy his rights. If it was true the topic title would read something like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

It was funny because some people beleived it

Sony would want the rights to Mario. (Who wouldn't)

And if Sony did buy Mario, Knux probably wouldn't care. (He's getting a PS2) I also wouldn't care. If Sony or Microsoft bought Mario, why not buy a non-Nintendo console? They aren't bad.

Man this can't be true. If they were making a Kingdom Hearts 2 it wouldn't have Nintendo characters in it anyways. And plus if Mario was taken from Nintendo to Sony. Nintendo wouldn't even be Nintendo anymore without their tubby mascot! This is an outrage! That joke isn't even funny!
