I made a Mario Timeline

(prescript: I tried to give the Mario a sensible series, while making it sound like the LotR timeline. Btw, 'First Mushroom World' is referring to the Mushroom Kingdom. Try to catch some things in the timeline that cohere with the games.)

-53,500,000- Group of underwater volcanoes in the sea erupt, forming Yoshi’s Island.
-238- Yoshies land on Yoshi’s Island and spawn.
0- First traces of men appear.
280- Council of the Wise, composed of seven wizards, created in the largest men colony.
390- Mushrooms discovered, become major part of the colony’s culture.
500- Large continent colonized and dubbed Mushroom World.
850- High councel divides, each wizard is followed by wedge of colony’s population and founds its own kingdom. The Seven Mushroom Worlds are created.
1238- The Mushroom Kingdom is founded in the First Mushroom World.
1381- Band of turtles banned from Fourth Mushroom World; found the Turtle Tribe.
1652- Turtle tribe learns the secret of Black Magic. Turtle tribe creates group of Magic turtles.
1653- Turtle tribe attempts to take over Sixth Mushroom World; is banished to a rocky valley near Koopa Volcano. Turtle tribe name themselves “Koopas” after the Volcano. Valley is names Valley of Koopa. Turtle tribe begins construction of castle.
1659- Castle completed. Blarg, leader of the Turtle tribe, becomes king. Turtle tribe begins contruction of their army.
1669- Lava-dwelling dragon discovered in Koopa Volcano. Dragon named Blargg, after the King.
1703- Turtle tribe ambushes Seventh Mushroom World with new army. Seventh Mushroom World’s king slain; Blarg becomes new king. Seventh Mushroom World becomes occupied by Turtle Tribe.
1711- Armies from the other six Mushroom Worlds overwhelm and banish Turtle tribe from Seventh Mushroom World. Prince Ezekiel from Sixth Mushroom World becomes new king of Seventh Mushroom World. Turtle Tribe culture blends with the culture of the kingdom.
1720- Morton I born to King Blarg.
1738- King Blarg dies. Morton I becomes heir to the throne.
1759- Plumbing is invented. The Mushroom Worlds begin construction of systems of large pipes interconnected throughout the continent.
1762- Mushroom Wars. The First Mushroom World and the Fourth Mushroom World fight over ownership of the Cookie Mountains. Construction of pipes is abandoned.
1763- The Turtle tribe becomes involved in the Mushroom Wars.
1764- First Mushroom World, The Mushroom Kingdom, loses its castle in a battle.
1766- Morton II born to King Morton I.
1768- The Turtle tribe pulls out of battle after having lost most of its army. The Turtle tribe hides in the Valley of Koopa and is unheard of for long period of time.
1770- Fifth Mushroom World joins The Fourth Mushroom World in the war.
1771- Seventh Mushroom World joins The First Mushroom World.
1774- Cease fire is called.
1776- Fifth Mushroom Kingdom attacks First Mushroom Kingdom. Cease fire is broken.
1780- Treaty signed. End of Mushroom Wars. First Mushroom World begins construction on new castle.
1781- Morton I dies. Morton II becomes heir to the throne.
1797- Kamek born.
1805- Kamek begins learning Black Magic.
1807- Morton III born to Morton II.
1843- Rose Town established just outside of First Mushroom World.
1852- Morton II dies. Morton III becomes heir to the throne.
1860- Poison Mushroom plague attacks most Mushroom Worlds. Goomba storekeeper blamed. Riot started against goombas.
1861- Band of goombas leave the Mushroom Worlds and join with Turtle tribe.
1863- End of Poison Mushroom Plague. Frogfucious born.
1870- Tony Mario born.
1889- Yoshi born.
1890- Bowser born to Morton III.
1891- Morton III dies. Bowser becomes heir to the throne and is also the youngest koopa king ever.
1892- Tony Mario weds Pauline Arc.
1896- Mario and Luigi Mario born to Tony and Pauline Mario. Kamek captures Luigi. Yoshi and his friends rescue Luigi with the aid of the newborn Mario.
1897- Fearing for their babies’ lives, Tony and Pauline move to Rose Town.
1900- Princess Peach Toadstool born.
1910- Kamek dies.
1915- Toad born.
1921- Tony Mario dies from eating a Poison Mushroom.
1925- Turtle tribe suddenly attacks First Mushroom World and, attempting to control it, takes Princess Peach and kills all but one of Peach’s Mushroom Retainers.
1926- Mario and Luigi, still in Rose Town, hear about the plight of the First Mushroom World and set out to save it. They succeed. Turtle tribe once again banished to Valley of Koopa. Toad, Peach’s last Mushroom Retainer, resigns.
1927- Mario and Luigi move to Mushroom Kingdom. Mario has dream about Sub-con. Lemmy, Iggy, Larry, Morton IV, Roy, Ludwig, and Wendy born from Bowser’s first and only batch of eggs.
1932- Bowser’s children steal wands from all seven Mushroom Worlds. Bowser attacks the First Mushroom World and takes Princess Peach to the Valley of Koopa. Mario and Luigi successfully reclaim the wands and save the Princess.
1933- Mario discovers Yoshi’s Island. He decides to take Luigi and the Princess with him on a vacation there. Bowser finds and attacks them, stealing the Princess. With the aid of Yoshi and his friends, Mario is able to rescue the Princess. Pauline dies.
1935- Smithy attacks the Mushroom World. With the aid of the Princess, Yoshi, Mallow, Geno, Bowser, and Frogfucious’s wisdom, Smithy is defeated and banished from the Mushroom Worlds.
1938- Bowser learns Black Magic and uses it to transform the First Mushroom World’s castle into a magic prison. Toad and Peach are hidden in the prison. Bowser uses magic stars to seal the prison. Mario infiltrates the world inside the magic prison and collects all the stars. Bowser is defeated and hidden inside his own prison. Mario rescues the Princess.
1939- Bowser escapes the prison and returns to the Valley of Koopa.
1940- Luigi wins mansion. After discovering that hidden ghosts inside the mansion captured Mario, Luigi destroys the ghosts and rescues Mario. After that, Mario takes vacation. Mario is convicted of vandalizing island and is forced to clean it up. Mario destroys the real perpertrator.

That was pretty sweet. Must have taken you a while. I saw the super mario RPG, Yohis Island, Super Mario World (duh), Luigis Mansion, Sunshine, mario 64, pretty much all the mario's....

Except the gameboy marios. you know, super mario land 1 & 2. Wario was missing. Shucks

Oh yeah. I didn't really know where to put those. But SML 1 doesn't really count, as Shiggy Miyamoto never really worked on it. ^_^ In case you missed the other hints I dropped, let me explain them:

"High councel divides, each wizard is followed by wedge of colony’s population and founds its own kingdom. The Seven Mushroom Worlds are created."

i.e. the seven Mushroom worlds of SMB 3

"Turtle tribe learns the secret of Black Magic. Turtle tribe creates group of Magic turtles."

In the SMB intruction booklet, it said the turtle tribe was famous for Black Magic. Those 'Magic turtles' are Magikoopas, but at that time in history they werent called koopas.

"Turtle Tribe culture blends with the culture of the kingdom."

This is why World 7 in SMB 3 is full of Pirhana Plants

"Plumbing is invented. The Mushroom Worlds begin construction of systems of large pipes interconnected throughout the continent."

This explains all the big pipes in the Mario games that don't seem to have any actual plumbing use

"1860- Poison Mushroom plague attacks most Mushroom Worlds. Goomba storekeeper blamed. Riot started against goombas.
1861- Band of goombas leave the Mushroom Worlds and join with Turtle tribe."

In the SMB instruction booklet, it said goomba is a mushroom that defected from the Mushroom Kingdom. This is why

Our Mario went out with Pauline, not a father of Marios. Shigeru Miyamato even said that specificly in a little booklet I got in the mail with his interview and a time line.

Donkey Kong series? Mario Bros.? Wrecking Crew?

And if Bowser's killing all the Mushroom Retainers in SMB, then why do Mario and Luigi find them at the ends of the fortresses?

Other than a few missing games here and there, and the occasional gap, sounds interesting.

Yeah, I miscalculated the time links, so Mario ended up in the early 1900s.

I didn't include Paper Mario( X_X ), Mario Bros, Super Mario Land and all the spin-offs simply because they wouldn't really fit anywhere.

Paper Mario is a sequel to SMRPG for SNES... Supposively. I don't see how though since the MK looks totally differentin both games, one being just a castle and a gtown on a very high cliff by the sea and the other a more sea leveled land mass with varried terrains and lots of towns. It's easier just to think that SMRPG took place on the whole continent of Mushroom Land while PM took place exclusively on the Mushroom Kingdom with some added areas that weren't yet colonized or just weren't soon because nothing was happening those areas at the time. In fact, I'm making a map that combines PM and SMRG.

Then again, you can do what Golem did and just conclude that PM and SMRPG took place in two different Mushroom Kingdoms.
