| Guest Posts: n/a | My favorite MK64 cheat is The Rainbow Road shortcut. Works best with 150cc, at the start speed up and jump over the railing. Then comes my favorite part, you either make it to the other road and now halfway finished & ahead of everybody else, or you plummet into space screaming with no way of catching up to everybody else. |

I, at times, try the Royal Raceway shortcut on the jump. it's not worth it most of the time. |

If you miss, you're screwed, and even if you make it, there's not much payoff. Definitely do this on Lap One if you want to use it to get ahead. When you're about to go hit the second zipper on the jump, turn and power slide to the left toward the finish line. if you time this correctly, you should go off the jump and hit the cliff near the item boxes, and be put next to the item boxes when brought back onto land by Lakitu. |

You will be done with about half of the course. Anyone tried it? ![]() |

The KTB cut and the Wario cut I've gotten the hang of. A Royal Raceway cut I've only touched once. Say, have you guys ever tried this? After a jump at Frappe Snowland (if by the impossible chance you land short, you'll be in the lake and Lakitu will fish you out), you can go over to the left. Once you get to the peak of a hill, you're stick. Lakitu will fish you out. If done correctly, you will be set down in the lake and stuck there until you restart/quit or press reset on your 64. I've done it (I think) 3 times, and I've always stopped just as Lakitu is about to drop the character (once Wario, once Mario, the other time I don't know) into the lake because...I'm chicken. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | ok ppl listen up, the shortcut in Kalimari desert is this: when you drive around and you get to the second crossing of the tracks, take a left along the tracks towards the tunnel, you can get through the tunnel but the train always gets you.... solution? use a Star! works every time if you have one, ps i dont think you can do it on the last lap, not sure........ |

| Guest Posts: n/a | oh yea, btw, theres a great shortcut in yoshi's valley. U know when all the different tracks meet up again u have to go wwwwaaaaaayyyy round a big bend till you get to the giant egg? well, if, as soon as all the tracks become one, you do a power slide, you can hop the gap and get straight to the big egg. Watch tho cos you need to time it right and do it where the gap between the two tracks is shortest. If u do it right tho, ur mates'll be like "wow" n u'll be like "who da man?" |

I once managed it by accident and have done it quite a few times since. Timing is crucial in most of the cheats!! Anyone tried this one yet? Jungle Parkway Shortcut At the beginning go backwards into the tunnel. Then drive into the section where the wall and ceiling join. If done right, the cloud boy will pick you up out of a black and green pit and put you back in the tunnel right after the bridge. Now cross the finish line and you will be on your next lap... ![]() |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I try the Wario Stadium short cut all the time. It's way better than the Rainbow Road short cut (RR is such a long course that the opponents will be close to you when you get to the next lap, even though you took the short cut). Wario Stadium is especially fun when several people know how to take the short cut. It really puts a lot of pressure on you. |
