Nintendo's putting a new Mario game on GC

It was released on March 28th but I've only just seen it.

The president of Nintendo, as well as famed game developer, Miyamoto, have both revealed that Nintendo has a new game for Mario.

They released details in an interview that Mario will star in his first First Person Shooting game.

Today, Computer and Video Gaming, posted news regarding an exclusive interview with Shelly Friend, PR Manager for Nintendo of Europe. In the interview Shelly Friend confirmed Nintendo's new direction, however, when asked directly about the online status, stated that the new Mario will not be playable online.

Details are very sketchy but fans the world over are very excited with the news. Finally, a new direction for Mario on GameCube.
