I'd be eternally grateful to whoever could tell me why the Koopalings on the Super Mario 3 cartoon had different names than in the game (such as calling Wendy "Cootie Pie"). I registered for this forum just to ask that one question. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I can only imagine licensing issues. Most Koopalings were named after pop artists of the late 80's. But then again, they may have been changed enough that there was no copying. I really don't know.

Well, it is a mystery. I remember, as a child, being annoyed when other characters didn't use the Koopalings real names. I was like "It's WENDY, not Cootie Pie!" But, oh well...
