Actually, the credit for Wind Waker belongs to Mr. Eiji Aomura, who also holds credit for writing Majora's Mask.

Ever since the release of the N64, Nintendo fans have been turned off to the idea of 2d on a 3d system, and I don't understand it. Why leave it to the 2d systems? It's not technically inferior, just another genre of games. Going by this preference, there shouldn't be any 2d games on the next GB system if it has a 3d graphics engine.
