It may be primitive by today's standards, but the magic is still there. Playing through all the old levels, recollecting all of my old favorite stars, I've realized just how much creativity went into this game. Much to my surprise I also discovered that somewhere, somehow, I have become a master of this game. Perhaps it comes with the years of experience I now have with 3-d games, but the challenges that once seemed so difficult can now be beaten with my eyes closed. So I've started making my own challenges, to liven up the game again. Post any crazy challenges you can come up with so we can all try them out! Just make sure they're really possible. This one's a classic. Try carrying the King Bob-omb all the way back to the begining of the stage. Then laugh as he makes it all the way back to the top of the mountin in a single jump! In Ranbow Ride can you grab the star on the flying ship by only riding a single magic carpet (instead of the usual 3)? It's tough, and it takes some creative jumping, but I've pulled it off, can you? |
