Don't you just love the Mario signature hills? You know, those big green bumps that are usually hugged by clouds? Reason #294867 why Mario games still rules. I'll be showing pics from Mario games featuring these magnificent hills!

Here you can see them with eyes.

They look so beautiful.

With the clouds around them again. They should make a stage just called "Koopa Hills" or something with all those hills and clouds.
Post them if i missed some.

do you notice that the things in Mario's world are all things that you only see when your stoned?

eat a mushroom and you grow...
eat a flower and shoot fire out of your hands...
eat a leaf and you sprout a tail and ears like a raccon...
eat a feather and you sprout a cape...
eat a star (how is that even possible?) and you become invincible...
hills, stars, flowers, clouds, boxes, and mushrooms all have eyes...
dragons\dinosaurs everywhere...

Mario and friends are truly stoned if you ask me...

I always felt bad for that hill. It would be cool if a hill talked and stuff and became a main character in one of the games.

And I don't know where to find screenshots, but there are a lot of good hill backgrounds in Yoshi's Island.
