I found this through a link from GameFAQS, so I don't know how reliable it is, but still! Toad!! Woohoo!

Also, EGM says that there are 4 unlockable players, so if those 2 are official, that still leaves 2 more! *hopes for Shy Guy and Boo*

Exept Gen. Guy is from Paper Mario, and Nintendo never brings back characters introduced in games with actual potential for multiple sequals. I'm still waiting for Paper Mario 2.
