Red face The Official Super Mario Galaxy Topic

Super Mario Galaxy was released in Japan on the first and today in North America, and will be released on the 16th in Europe and the 29th in Aussieland. So far, the game's received extremely positive reviews (IGN gave it 9.7/10, Gamespot 9.5/10, Gamespy 5/5, Gametrailers 9.8/10, Eurogamer 10/10) and sold over over 250,000 copies in Japan within four days of its release.

This is the topic to gloat to everyone once you finally get a copy, or to speculate, or to praise, or to bash, or whatever. I myself can't wait to get the game.

Wow, Galaxy sure is great.
Maybe the second best game Nintendo has ever made.

The Grand Star (boss) levels are awesome, especially the 2nd Bowser Jr. one and the final one. The game definitely needs more fire flower, though. It's so much fun to use, but it's not in nearly enough levels.

All in all, this is just about the greatest thing since sliced bread. On a taste scale of disgusting to delicious, this game makes me burst with snacky happiness (that's about a 12/10).

Rented it this morning, it's fantastic.

It's like Super Mario 64, but made ten years later!!

Nintendo Power rates Super Mario Galaxy a "9.5" So it doesn't seem to be one of the best games to them, "Metroid Prime" got a 10.
