I'd make this a poll, but it's more open-ended than that. For this topic, one would tell their favorite Mario character. But first! Say why they are your favorite, preferably without saying which character they are until the end. Therefore there is a possibility of more than one-liner "Mario rockz" etc. For an example, see this: I like this character because he is a techno-freak and seems very intelligent. Furthermore, he speaks a lot, so it's a lot easier to tell his motives. He has a cool looking cape and is smart enough to predict future events, making him far cooler than many of the other characters. Although a certain anti-plumber has always seemed like a top pick for me, this character has always had the top spot since he appeared. Unfortunately, his number of appearances is few, and his chance of recurring in any other Mario game is low. Oh well. The character is Grodus, of course; from Paper Mario II. An odd choice, you say? Well, one can like Luigi or Mario, but I always go for the weird choices--more challenging to explain. ![]() |

He does not have a lot of fans. By far, the ability to emmit electricity from his hands maniacally is the coolest power ever. Unfortunately, this ability only appeared in one game. And apparently, he's good at boxing. The way I worded this, it sounds like Luigi. But it's not. It's Waluigi. |

An excuse to get away from my life where all the fights are between sterroided spandex-clad ugly men.... to a place where action, heroism, and awesomeness exists. I always enter and exit the Glitz Pit arena, waiting for the ultimate match with the ultimate fighting machines... These red spheres (Circles, since it's in Paper Mario...)... I AM A HARDCORE CHOMP COUNTRY FAN. Why? Chain chomps rawk, that's why. |

He's a man of many talents, and, like myself, loves Italian food. He's friendly and manages to have fun on all of his adventures, no matter what's at stake, be it the safety of the Mushroom Kingdom or the entire universe. He's a very balanced character and always easy to play as. I didn't hide it very well, did I? It's Mario. |

She (yes, she) is kinda like me: quiet, chubby, and mysterious. What I like the most about her is that she's colored purple. It's my favorite color: dark, but not too dark. She's also a pretty tough cookie, for a ghost-like being. ^_^ Vivian? NO!!! Marilyn! ^_^ |

I have to say that Lady Bow is also one of the most badass sidekicks in a Paper Mario game. She just is. :] |

He's no hero, he prefers to do what he wants good or bad. No one tells him what to do(unless they're paying him sacks of gold). I wouldn't pick his favorite color as my own, but he wears it well. Another thing I like about this guy is his mysterious background, who is he exactly? where did he come from? no one knows for sure. One thing I do know though is he is the best. Come on you don't know by now? Wario Last edited by Redshirt; 04-04-2008 at 06:55 PM. |

His nemesis actually debuted in another game. His friend, however, was nearby. His name draws attention. And his weapon of choice is used by mountain climbers. That's right, it's ![]() Well, he's technically a Mario character, right? After all, he was in SMB2. |

She always stays by the side of that whom she cares for most, and strives to do what is best for him. She loves him and respects him and would do anything that he wished for. Though she isn't the most significant character in the world, she is still kickass. ...I don't think this is too hard. Nastasia is awesome. |

Yet under that fearful, even silly, exterior is a great love and respect for the one he cares for the most. He wants to be like the one he cares for the most. And he's rather cute. It's too bad that most people can't remember his name, though--even though he's done just as much as the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. It should be obvious. ;) 'tis Luigi~ |
