Wanting to be a mod is not enough to be one. You must show that you're responsible and can properly run or at least talk in the forum.

The key idea is that mods are chosen based on what they've done, not what they can do.

If you want to be mod, act as if you were one; stimulate discussion, draw in readers, become a factory for conversation. This is what a mod is responsible for. There's no excuse for not doing it now, when you're still a regular member.

Become a community leader. If we need a mod, you will be chosen.
