Keep holding up when you reach the top and wait for the Hoopster to climb up. He will push over the vine and you will be climbing on nothing.  |

I do remember as a kid trying that glitch where you throw a mushroom block against a vine and it clips into it, somehow. As I look back, it wasn't anything special, but it was magical. |
