I remember the first time I fought Smithy. I had no Lazy Shell and no Safety Ring. Coupled with the fact that I was 8. Augh. It was horrible.

^ I was exactly the same.

But once you get the Lazy Shell armor and equip it (preferably to Toadstool), the battle's a cakewalk.

I never really used Toadstool. It was always Mario, Geno, and Mallow/Bowser.

Toadstool's only good as a healer. Mallow is okay, but HP Rain doesn't affect the entire party or heal status like Group Hug.

I never completed "Thousand Year Door", and I have yet to play "Partners in Time".

I've been trying to take down the final boss of 'Superstar Saga' for quite some time now, so I'll vote for her.

Mario and Luigi's boss was incredibly tough.

Half of the Smithy Battle is figuring out how he works, and then you're fine from then on.

I for one voted for the TYD boss, not because it was especially difficult, but because I remember trying several times to defeat it, before one time being defeated by poison when we were both down to a mere 1 HP.

I gave up playing for months.

Out of the ones I've played, I'd say TTYD. Even after beating it multiple times, I STILL die on that boss. I had her down to ten HP when stupid Vivian wasted one of my life shrooms, and then she killed me.

I beat the last boss in TYD in 5 minutes, but the time before that my sister tuned off the Gamecube right after the final blow. But here's what I did: Whenever I leveled up I would boost my HP, FP and BP evenly.

SMRPG: Yeah... No problem. Easiest of the choices I've played.
Paper Mario: Dispelling Bower's invincibility was a pain and his healing didn't help. It wasn't too bad, though. 3rd hardest.
PMTTYD: Holy S***. This battle was tough doing it the "normal" way (even leveling up; 50HP 50FP 30BP). Easy using "Danger Mario". Toughest battle I've been in.
M&LSS: Cackletta was a little tough, but using Shroom Badges and Great force, The damage kept climbing easily (for both sides, but I rarely got hit). 2nd toughest final battle
Super PM and M&LPT: Didn't play.
