Super Mario World (NES)

Here is one of many videos of this weird yet cool pirate.

And a link. Interestingly, Lemmy is referred to as "Lemming" in the game.

Lemmy the Lemming?

I'm impressed, even if the limitations of the NES were bringing it down.

I think I saw this earlier, but maybe it was so long ago that the neural circuit in charge of managing memories of pirated NES games gave up the ghost =/

What's weird is that Mario's outline is blue from the neck down. Once again, probably something to do with the limitations of the porting.

Oh, man, I forgot about this. I actually found a ROM and played it myself. Not exactly a great Mario engine, but the graphics are very good for being a NES pirate.

Yeah, I've got the ROM, plays pretty crappy. Impressive for a pirate, though.

For some reason, the castle music is even catchier in the NES version.

Normally, I'd post a link to a place where you could download this, but that would be illegal. If you do want this ROM, you'll have to search for it yourself because I don't really want to be affiliated with it.
