No, I don't think he was a sword; the sword was merely a follower of Smithy, and I believe his name is Corona.

Wrong. It's Exor.

Corona is a spell the mouth portion of Exor (Don't remember the actual name of it) casts. If not the mouth, then it's one of the eyes.

The mouth portion of Exor is called Neosquid. ;) And to the best of my recollection, Corona is casted by Neosquid. (I really should play this game again...)

As for me, I think the best Mario villain is Fawful. Perhaps overrated, but I think he's awesome. I HAVE FURY!
