Crazy Idea Here

Okay, I have an idea for a quite extensive fan game here. It's just a concept, but a huge concept. Idea: A Super Mario Bros game in a similar style to a Legend of Zelda game complete with puzzles and everything. So I've prepared a general walkthrough-esque layout of my ideas for the first three worlds which can be found here:

Hmm... yes. I like where this is going. Of course, we've had Mario RPGs before, but nothing in-depth like a LoZ game. I'll try to support you if I can. Do you have any sprites that you need to be made?

You could always use the Super Mario Brothers 3 map sprites.

^That would be good for tiles, but Mario will probably need some custom sprites. Unless you want him to dance all around Mushroom Kingdom.
