New Mario and Luigi game

Gametrailers.com - Mario & Luigi RPG 3 - Debut Trailer

Not much known right now, except that battles look the same, and Bowser is a playable character. Looks interesting.

This really does look interesting. Kind of reminds me of Breath of Fire IV when you can play as (spoiler below for Breath of Fire IV; I don't think anyone's played it but for those who don't like spoilers I'm spoiler-boxing it anyway)

the hero (Ryu) and the villain (Fou-Lu) in their own areas in Breath of Fire IV.

The battle moves look interesting too. It's probably because I haven't played M&L and M&L2 in a while, but I don't recall Luigi flipping in any of them.

I don't get why Nintendo says the M&L games are so hilarious, when they aren't. It's cool that you can play as Bowser though.

I thought that the first one was pretty funny, especially the Bros. attacks. Haven't got to play Partners in Time yet, so you may be right about it.

^A poor question. The more consistently funny something is, the harder it is to pinpoint a single funniest component.

To be honest, I didn't find M+L1 too funny when I first played it: however I thought the same of Paper Mario and SMRPG. Recently, I replayed the latter two games, and found them hilarious, so maybe I was too young to actually NOTICE the humor in M+L.

That's just me, though.

The M&L are my least favorite of the RPG serises, I hate switching buttons.

Now that's Square's back in line why not try doing a true Sequel to the origonal?

I've always liked the Mario and Luigi series, even with it's problems.

It's short and there's not much to do after beating the game, but it's fun in the short time you have with the game. It's almost a beginner's RPG if you want to think of it like that.

M&L - and to a lesser extent, Paper Mario, are very funny. They seem to be the games where the design team (and Miyamoto) use sarcasm and wit, which aren't often found in the other Mario games.

M&L is easily my favorite RPG series (even with a flop like PiT).

Paper Mario is a close second, with SMRPG at 3rd.

Paper Mario is my favorite, because of it's (slightly) different style from normal Mario games. M&L is pretty cool, though.

SMRPG is a good game, but I honestly liked the other RPGs better.
