Utsusu Made in Wario (New WarioWare DSi game)

DSi Ware lineup + AMAZING "Made in Ore" details. - NeoGAF
Super Mario News » 3 Japanese Words You Should Know to Understand 3 Upcoming Wario Games
Translated version of http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1220582_1124.html

In case you haven't heard, we've got a new WarioWare game coming out, this time as a DSiWare game for the upcoming Nintendo DSi. For those of you who liked Touched!, this might be incentive to trade in your Lite for the DSi. The game will feature new minigames, including some that will use the DSi's built-in camera to put your silhouette into the game.

The game was released in Japan on Christmas Eve as a pilot game for the DSiWare in Japan. Currently, there is no projected NA or PAL release date, but it should coincide with the release of the Nintendo DSi in the respective areas. Look forward to it!

^It's a download; that's why it only works on the new one. Which is a stupid idea, I agree.

I'd hope that you'd know they would utilize those new functions on the DSi and not just have them there for nothing.

Consider the DS to not be an upgrade, but rather a brand new handheld system. Hopefully that would deter some of the frivilous anger you guys have about the new DS coming out.

It sounds like this. * HOW DARE THEY HAVE THOSE NEW FUNCTIONS BUT TAKE AWAY THE GBA SLOT!!!!! NOW HOW AM I GONNA PLAY THOSE GBA GAMES? HOW DARE THOSE NEW FUNCTIONS SERVE PURPOSES IN NEW UPCOMING DS TITLES!!!!!!!!!*

For those angry at the GBA slot not being there anymore, just buy a DS lite or go buy you a stupid gameboy advance. They are on clearance for like 50 bucks or something.

^But there are DS games that require the GBA slot. Those are unplayable on the DSi.

There're going to have to do more than a Warioware game to make it a new console. I'm afraid.

If you want to play Guitar Hero, don't get a DSi. Simple as that. What other DS games need the GBA slot?

^The Pokemon games use the GBA slot, including the recently-released Platinum version.

Other games have the GBA-slot used for optional stuff. (ie: MMBN sidequest in Star Force)

FFTA2 would be another example,as in you get some special bonus for popping in FFTA.
I couldn't really care much less for the dsi.I just figure, don't buy it and they may stop selling it.That is,if you don't want them selling it.

So a few games use the GBA slot. Guitar Hero is the only one that REQUIRES IT. You guys complain about something that isn't coming out until months later. Why, if you guys complain about needing the GBA slot, don't you just go buy a DS lite? I am pretty sure that the DS lites will still be around but at a reduced cost compared to the DSi. When the DSi comes out it doesn't necessarily mean the end of DS Lite immediately. Lots of companies try to phase out older products but they do it in gradual processes. The DS Lite has been around since 2005. If you haven't gotten one yet you have no right to complain about the newer DSi not having a GBA slot. It is YOUR FAULT for waiting so long to get one.

Basically, I think this is all an excuse for you guys to be angry. It is such a small thing to get angry about and easily remedied if you go buy your DS Lite right now.

We're angry? I'm not angry. I'm annoyed at a shortsighted design decision, but I'm not angry. You seem pretty miffed for some reason, though.

^How do you know it was shortsighted? How do you know that it wasn't a move to phase out GBA after no games were being made after 3-4 years? How do you know it wasn't a move to keep the cost of the system down? What if they removed it because of system conflicts? How do you know that they aren't going to keep DS Lites around for that very reason?

System conflicts? That doesn't even make sense.

Ideally, they will keep around the DS Lite. But then, the only reason for a DSi is for the exclusive downloads, which are only exclusive to promote DSi sales.
