FEBUARY 11TH YESSSSSSSSSSSS (but i cant trust gage)

Is anyone exited for this game? I know I am. I'm re-buying the first 2 just to practice for the new game. Of cource, knowing Nintendo, it'll probably be delayed.

The plot has been revealed that there is a disease spreading throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. The disease is known to inflate toads several times their actual size. Princess Peach organizes a meeting about this problem. During the meeting Bowser comes in and inhales everyone into his belly, without him realizing it. He is controlled by Fawful, who plans to seek revenge over the Kingdom.

... FAWFUL IS RETURNING WUT? Nice to see returning Mario characters.

I really hope the Bros. Attacks make a return. It looks like it, since there are 6 icons now. So, does that mean the Bros. Items are staying also?

Wait, it's just seperate icons for the hammer and jump.

I hope the whole game isn't in Bowsers stomach/2D.

Sounds cool, but why make new sprites for them? I liked the old ones. And, the plot isn't as good.

I think the sprites are cute. They've always been cute, especially the walking diagonally sprites and Luigi's swimming sprites from Superstar Saga.

Well, they're not bad, they're good actually, but they'll take some getting used to since right now I am currently obssessively working on M & L: Partners in Time.

My only problem is that every Mario RPG game was released for a different system/handheld. It's kind of foolish to break the system just to make Bowser playable again in a semi-main game.

But that's my opinion on it. It does look interesting, but I couldn't finish Partners in Time because of TOO MANY BUTTONS used at once. As for the first one, two buttons can be hard to work with against the Koopa Kids. I forgot which one, but he spins around constantly where you have to time the jumps. I have yet to beat that part.

Well, I'm at least glad they did away with the whole baby thing. I was never too fond of them, and it just turned battles into a whole mess of buttons.

But it wasn't and FYI, I complained originally about that too. Plus, even if it was, it wasn't a traditional rpg.

Also, FYI, some of us learn how to spell and punctuate. Try that sometime, it might help.

Good and original games is better than constant gimmicky games. Breaking a tradition just because one game apparently sucked(Partners in Time specifically, since Super Paper Mario was still fun as hell) isn't that great of an idea. It's my opinion on it, get over it.

Feb 11 is the Jap. date. Don't think any NA date has appeared, yet.

Famitsu gave it about 88%, or 35/40, apparently.

It'll be interesting to see how you control Bowser. I wonder if it will be like in the other Paper Mario games, where the story switches over to Bowser's point of view and you play as him seperatley from Mario and Luigi.
