New SMB Wii was released in Japan on December 3. Since then, it's sold 936, 734 copies in that country, making it Japan's new record-holder for fastest-selling Wii game.

Just posting to mention that I heard from Crav that some folks are working on a bluetooth-based system that sends Wii Remote signals over the net to be reproduced at another location. That means you could, with the right PC hardware, play NSMBW over the internet with a friend. Cool or what?

Dude, the game is worth getting just to play it by yourself. The multiplayer is a nice bonus, but that's so not what it's all about.

I've found all of the secret exits and Star Coins, and have four glittering stars. What do I have left to do to get the highest rank?

1. Beat the Castle in World 8.
2. Finish every level in Worlds 1 - 8.
3. Find all 207 Star Coins in Worlds 1 - 8.
4. Finish every level in Worlds 1 - 9 and find all secret exits, plus use all cannons.
5. Find all 24 Star Coins in World 9.

The cannons count as levels and using them counts as beating them.

I think it was that way for the DS game, too.
