But wasn't Bowser Jr.'s first appearance in Yoshi's Island? Or was it truely just a seperate entity, later to become Bowser?

The Bowser from Yoshi's Story is the Bowser that Mario and luigi always fight just at roughtly the same age as baby Mario and Luigi.
I think the reason you're getting baby Bowser and Bowser Jr. Goofed up is probly because of Partners in Time.

Partners in Time had Baby Bowser, who's design was modeled more on Bowser Jr.

I figured something like that caused the confusion.

The gameplay videos are rather intresting. Makes me wonder though would co-op durring bosses be worth it? i'm sure that it could be usefull but AI already mentioned the FSA anti co-op issue and that could really be annoying durring a boss fight.

I hope there's a/some battle mode(s) like in the first. And a competition mode in the main adventure, where you battle for points and coins and stuff.

I'm definitely getting this, even though I never have anyone to play games with. I played the GameCube's Four Swords Adventures completely solo and found it to be satisfying enough, so I'm sure I'll dig this.

But don't you have the Wii? Internet capabilities all but ensures you'll have someone to play with. I don't see why this game won't include Wifi.
