The game won't have Wi-Fi because the Wii can't apparently handle all the action on the screen: multiple players, a whole stage, enemies...that's what I've heard, at least.

It's barely worth it without online multiplayer. Some of us don't have the luxury of having people over often.

I don't have any friends either, but I'm banking that the game will still be sufficiently rewarding as a one-player experience.

^Maybe. It's too bad that Nintendo wants it focused on multiplayer and teamwork. That's why it won't feel like a full experience without online.

Super Paper Mario. No question in my mind, at least until NSMB has online multiplayer, and only then if you want story to take a back seat.

You mean the "Lost Levels"? Wasn't it essentially a harder version of SMB, without multiplayer...? Because it is the original SMB 2, unless you mean the one everybody is used to with Wart.

^I meant the Western version of SMB 2, with Wart and the veggies. I think it would be awesome if Nintendo gave that game the New SMB treatment.

That'd be an interesting way to make the "New" series reinvent itself to keep the gameplay fresh. Maybe they could scrap the dream concept to make it canon, and remix or replace the odd, crappy music of the game.
