It would just stay true to the soul of the original game; Mario, Luigi, Toad, and the Princess would be the playable characters and have the same differences in abilities, Wart would be the villain, there'd be veggies everywhere, etc. |

IRHP again. I'm still debating about wheather to get SPM or NSMBW next, stupid limited budget. - You stupid dog. |

I enjoyed SPM a lot, no question about that. It's a little easy(except the sidequests), but a lot of fun. |

I'll think on the debate for a few more days then deside. - You stupid dog. |

It tries to be both an RPG and a Platformer, and doesn't do very well at either. __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

It's a straight action-platformer with a few RPG-ish elements (like level-building) and a rather gimmicky and tiresome mechanic that lets you turn the environment temporarily 3-D. It won't be the same experience as Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, by a long shot. However, if you liked that game, you should definitely play the original Paper Mario for N64. If you don't have an N64, the game is available on the Wii Virtual Console. |

Much as I love a good old fashioned 2D turn-based romp I can let that slip if it's got a good story. Yeah I never had a N64 thus missing out on some very good games I fully intend to see if OoT is as good as it's uber overshadowing of ALttP makes it out to be. I mean really considering all the hype that OoT get's you'd think that Apple's iPhone was just a pale immatation. - You stupid dog. |

I would've liked it better if it stayed like the first two, instead of being all side scroller. __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

Will it live up to the hype though? Of the two Zelda games I own ALttP and Wind Waker I'd say that the former is my favoret. Also sorry that I derailed the topic. - You stupid dog. |

I'd still have to call it second best behind Ocarina of Time, however. As you say you've never had an N64, here's my recommendations from the titles available on the VC: Super Mario 64 Mario Kart 64 Paper Mario Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask I'd also recommend Kirby 64 if you like Kirby's classic side-scrollers, and Wave Race 64 if competitive jet ski racing is your thing. Don't get Yoshi's Story if you're expecting an experience equal to Yoshi's Island, though. You'll be disappointed. Last edited by Metal Mario; 09-26-2009 at 11:56 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

There are quite a few I can remember. |
