Finally played Paper Mario - Page 2

Lol. That guy as well as all bosses are easy. All you got to do is take out ultimate goombario and equip the charge badge as well as multibounce badge on Mario.

For about 10 turns charge the bajesus outta both goombario and mario and then on the last turn perform the 5 jump combo. If mario for some reason fails to destroy the cloud with his 5 jump attack just let goombario finish the rest.

It probably can be done in about 6 or 7 turns though.

I thought all the bosses were terribly easy.

In fact, probably the only boss who came close to killing me was the Crystal King, and even then I had, like, three Life Shrooms.

Maybe it's just because I beat the other two Paper Mario games before I even played the original.

Huff N' Puff's Thunderstorm was the best battle music in the whole series.

But General Guy's Keeping Pace and Crystal King's Freeze were good themes too.

I admit I died to him the first time as well. He is the hardest boss in the game. So after a while I had to improvise and that is when I discovered the charge multibounce combo. If not for goombario's version I'd probably never be aware Mario's had the same attack version. I rememeber the first time I defeated the cloud I inflicted either 390(if I missed one jump) damage or 485 damage to him that turn because I charged my characters to maximum power.

Turns out the strongest bosses in the game only have 99 health so I didn't have to go that extreme, heh.

I didn't think most of the bosses were that hard...Huff n Puff just took forever because of his mini-mes, and you had to get rid of the Crystal King's doppelgangers. The only boss that killed me the first time was Anti-Guy...I remember thinking "Haha, it's only a Shy-Guy, how hard could this be?" and then fighting him and being like "WTF"

I thought the music in the game was very catchy...I liked the Crystal Palace theme (really seemed to set the mood), and the Lavalava Island theme was cool too.

I would love to see the day when Mario and Peach start their own fireworks after a Mario game :P That would just about make my life.

Huff 'n' Puff is the only good part of Flower Fields, IMO.

Huff n' Puff's lightning attack killed me, btw.

The battle music is the best. I also love the music that plays when you run around the Candy Cane and get hearts is great also.

I didn't really mind Flower Fields that much. Definitely my least favorite 'dungeon' of the game, but I still didn't mind it horribly.

Maybe I'm just weird. :{P
