Saturday Supercade was a cartoon show that aired in 1983, comprised of sketches based loosely on different popular video games. Along with Frogger, Pitfall, and Q*Bert, one of the regular features was Donkey Kong, in which Mario and Pauline would chase continuously after DK, who had escaped from their circus. I found one of the episodes on YouTube, and I thought you might be interested. The writing, animation, and voice acting are all just terrible, but hey, it's Mario-related, which means we fanatics have at least some interest vested in it. | ||
