A Good Idea as far as I'm concerned.

Klap Trap - Runs back and forth across the stage, biting whoever gets in its way; behaves a bit like the Pokemon Piplup in Brawl, but with biting instead of pushing, and doesn't run blindly off the edge of the stage to its doom

You should consider having Klap Trap latch on to an opponent and leech on them randomly, kind of like Metroid, but less plausible and more avoidable.

Fawful - Flies over stage, shooting red and green fireballs from his helmet

Make sure he telegraphs which fireballs with Ratfink! and Ratfink!

Lob - From Mario Clash; an iron box on wheels that appears in the background and hurls iron balls at players in the foreground

In the Backround? Well, I guees that's good. An Iron box on wheels is gonna be hard to put in the air.

Lady Bow - Follows players and repeatedly slaps them; a bit like the Metroid in Brawl, but with slapping instead of sucking

I think it would be better to make her like Saki, with her going towards the opponent and slapping them, but not following them, because that is kind of impractical

Flurrie - Generates a strong wind that blows all other players (kind of like Whispy in the Kirby stages)

Good.

Items

All Mario-related items from the SSB series would return, along with the addition of the following:

Coconut Cannon - From Donkey Kong 64; replaces Cracker Launcher

POW Block - When thrown, it shakes the ground, bouncing and damaging all players touching the ground

Pure Heart - From Super Paper Mario; replaces Heart Container

Ummmm... what about those hearts from Super Mario 64?

Honey Syrup - Replaces Maxim Tomato

Cookies - From Yoshi's Cookie; replaces Food

Jet Helmet - From Wario Land; replaces Bunny Hood

Watermelon - From Yoshi's Island; lets player spit watermelon seeds at other players

Star Rod - From Paper Mario; replaces Kirby's Star Rod

Orange Grenade - From Donkey Kong 64; an orange that bounces along the ground a few times, then explodes

Vitamin Capsule - From Dr. Mario; replaces the ordinary Capsule; items are inside

"!" Box - From Super Mario 64; replaces the ordinary Crate; items are inside; comes in red, yellow, and blue

Recurring Mario items would, of course, include:

And you typed the bold text for Flipside in the wrong place.

From Fawful, red fireballs bounce all around and green fireballs bounce straight around up into the air. The same as Mario's and Luigi's.

Paper Mario's special attacks would be-

B Attack- Hammer
B-Side Attack- Paper Airplane (similar to Meta-Knight's side and up attack)
B down- Paper Mario turns sideways, therefore being invulnerable when still. This only lasts for a few seconds
B Up- Any ideas?

Awesome. Though, I'd rather call something different than Thoreau, even though I frickin' love that game. I'd rather have those guys like Thoreau as a Trophy or Assist Trophy. Why include just of those guys in your attacks?
