Though once just an ordinary girl, she fulfilled her destiny when she journeyed into outer space and became the adoptive mother of the race of star-like creatures called the Lumas. Rosalina went on to appear as a playable character in Mario Kart Wii. It is not yet known if she will return for next year's Super Mario Galaxy 2, but, with a deeper and more interesting back story than most other Mario characters, the fans would surely give Nintendo sufficient license to bring her back. For those of you unfamiliar with Rosalina, or for those who would simply like to get to grips with the intimate details of her emotional biography, I've posted the complete storybook from Super Mario Galaxy below. (Keep some tissues handy.)

And it was a very touching story as well, so extra points for that. For what it's worth Rosalina is a good and interesting character, although a little bland and she really hasn't done much yet. I mean she is the caretaker of the stars, but really all she does usually is hover and give instructions . . . so its hard to comment on her really, she just hasn't made that much of an impact to be given a really good comment yet, I suppose. As I said her character is a little bland right now. (generic princess) Quote:
Speaking of Daisy, doesn't it seem the of the Princesses seem to be loosely based on a major item from the Super Mario Bros. series? Peach is based on the super mushroom, Daisy is based on the fire flower, and now Rosalina is based on the super star . . . what's next? Princess Raccoon Tail? (Probabaly Princess Autumn based on the leaf) Last edited by Dark Seraphim; 11-09-2009 at 03:49 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Peach, Zelda, Samus, Rosalina, Cynthia... __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

All the rest of the time she's been blond. Also note that Rosalina is a distinctly different shade of blond than Princess Toadstool. The Princess is definitely a "yellow blond", whereas Rosalina is...I dunno...semi-platinum? |

. . . I guess that isn't really that much, I think she was dirty blond in Link to the Past (of course Link's hair was Pink in that one.)
