On top of that, they've also confirmed that the original Super Smash Bros. (1999) will be released on the VC before the year is out. |

Anyway, it took them long enough to give US Super Mario Kart. Seriously, it should've been released before Mario Kart 64(same thing with Starfox and its 64 counterpart). I hate it when they release later games but take forever with the start of the series. Same problem with the arcade version of Donkey Kong. It has more levels than the NES version, after all. SMK is rather hard for me. I'm used to the better control scheme of Mario Kart 64, despite the rubberband ai... |

I find both SNES and 64 versions of MK to be hard to play these days. I never e xcelled at them anyway. I much prefer DD and DS versions. |

Similarly, the Super FX chip in Yoshi's Island (which is incredibly difficult to emulate) is probably why that game's taking so long to come out. But if anything, the release of SMK provides hope that one of these days YI will be released as well. |

We could've gotten the game nearly a year earlier. Or maybe less, I forget when SMK was released in the japanese region. Also, we can finally get Star Fox! |

This tidbit of information doesn't come with a cited source, however, so it may or may not be factual. |
