Do you think next Super Smash Mario will be based on Mario Galaxy?

Just a thought I had concerning Mario's evolution through the Super Smash Bros. games. In the original and Melee he was pretty generically based on his early game, but he did have a few moves based more on his Mario 64 appearence, such as his spinning throw was based on hiw Bowser spin grapple.

Then in Brawl Mario got a little bit of an upgrade, being given FLUDD for his forward move, based on his appearence in Super Mario Sunshine.

This makes me wonder that if Super Smash Bros. gets a 4th incarnation would they repeat this revision and give Mario a move based on his Mario Galaxy appearence? I already have an idea of what they'd do, probabaly keeping FLUDD they could update Mario's Up+Special:

Star Warp: Mario's thrid jump would be into one of the Star Warps from the Mario Galaxy series, a two star large one that would make him spin and shoot out like a rocket. The remote can be tilted or aimed with the jotstick to slightly change the angle he shoots out from, otherwsie he will normally shoot straight up. Anyone in his path takes coin damage, like his original jump, but like in Mario Galaxy, the coins may be colors other than gold.

What do you think?

I'd love to see a SMG-inspired stage that does neat gravity stuff, but that's not all that relevant.
I don't see them changing Mario's up special, since there's no reason to. It's the most Marioesque move in his arsenal. Now, changing his down special to the Star Spin would work, since it's not all that different from the Mario Tornado from SSB and Melee, and nobody likes FLUDD.
A Galaxy or NSMBWii-inspired Final Smash would be rad, although no ideas come to mind at the moment.

How about for a Mario Galaxy Final Smash, Mario suddenly jumps out from the screen, just out from being hit, and a Hungry Luma pops up. Mario suddenly starts feeding the Luma a large amount of Star Bits as it gets fatter and fatter before it suddenly starts steaming like it does in the game.

From this point I would expect it to do one of two things, but might be fun.

IDEA 1: Everyone within range is forced into a Mario Galaxy launch star and blasted straight up into the sky, minimal damage but high straight up flinch, easily knocking enemies right off the map unless there's a obstable in the way. An allusion to the Launch Stars from Mario Galaxy.

IDEA 2: The Hungry Luma hops up into the sky, and suddenly a large planet, just like one of the ones from Mario Galaxy, comes crashing down onto the battlefield and starts rolling across the map, rolling over and pushing anyone unlucky enough to be in its way right off the map! An allusion to how the Hungry Lumas would turn into planets, it could even turn into several different types of planets, easy with the same effect, for fun.

^^^FLUDD is the down special. Cape is the forward special.

^^I like that idea for the down move.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

New final smash: a new galaxy is born. One where everyone but Mario has higher %.

That, or Mario uses a star to crash into a foe. Oww.

This is a good idea.

Seeing as Brawl Mario had a Sunshine-based attack, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they gave the next Mario a Galaxy spin, although I doubt it'd be anything too big. He'll probably retain the same Final Smash as before. If anything, it would probably be something as simple as Dr. Furball's suggestion.

Or maybe, his new Final Smash will be him shouting "SUPER MARIO GALAXYYYYYYYYYY" and shattering everybody's eardrums.

^ I don't know, Mario's final smash is one of the weakest in the game, in comparison to some of the others, so I could see them revamping it.

Personally I'd like maybe the Raccoon Tail instead of the cape, or way to switch between them, but that's just me!

It doesn't cause a lot of damage, but the push factor is tremendous.

True. It's great for small stages where you could easily push someone off screen.
