The Super Mario Picture Show #6

As we draw ever closer to Christmas, we bring you "Koopa Klaus" from The SMB Super Show. In this episode, Bowser plans to ruin Christmas by kidnapping Santa Claus, and, as usual, it's up to Mario and the gang to set things right.

Excellent as always. I wonder if there was a Christmas special for the SMB3 part of the show...

Not a bad episode, Toad got REALLY annoying really fast. I know that he was ment to show how selfish people can be especialy this time of year but still. On a diffrent note I think it was a intresting idea to have Princess Toadstool be the one to point out the obviouse in most the the episodes you've shown.

Yeah, she often serves as the voice of reason amongst the cast.

Bowser gives out some pretty strong vibes in this episode. What with all of his continuous dumping on Christmas, you get the impression that his motives for wanting to ruin the holiday run deeper than simply being a villainous troublemaker. Especially near the end, when Bowser roars insistently, "Christmas is a bah-humkoop! A BAH-HUMKOOP! A BAH. HUM. KOOOOOOOP!!! There's some palpable torment there. Kind of like Jim Carrey's Grinch. It's like the Christmas season is actually causing him pain.

While that may be true i just can't treat "Bah Hum Koop" with as much respect as I can the Grinches' or Scroodge's distaste/loathing for Christmas.

Speaking of "A Christmas Carol" did you see the new CgI version that came out this Novembore? I did and I thought it was alot closer to the book then most adaptations.

Also did the same voice acter play Koopa in all three Mario cartoons?

I haven't seen the new Disney version of A Christmas Carol, no. I've seen a lot of other versions, though. My favorites are the musical Scrooge starring Albert Finney, and The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Yup, Bowser was voiced by Harvey Atkin over the course of all three series.
