Super Mario Galaxy, after the lackluster reception Super Mario Sunshine got previously, SMG really seemed to revitilize the concept of the 3-D Mario Platformers, bringing elements of beta 3-D like SM64 and some of the better concepts of SMS.

The game was a surprising challenge, beautifully designed, bringing about both old, faithful concepts of the Mario platformers, along with many new exciting and well accepted ideas. It was a very well done game with great audio and visual, and although I have some qualms about its "bonus mode", I still think this is easily the best and most impressive game of the decade!

That's more of a Mario-starring vehicle than the SSB games are.

Hard to say. There were a loooot of good ones.

But I think I'd have to agree with DS. Galaxy was amazing. I hope Galaxy 2 will be able to live up to it.

I'm a trendsetter! I'm like Bowser, and Valigarmander is like Ludwig von Koopa and Metal Mario is Wendy O. Koopa.

Nah I'm just being goofy, but Galaxy was great, I just remember the Bowser fight music being my favorite in the game, and my favorite Bowser theme of them all!

Damn it. I guess Super Smash Brothers Melee, but if I were to go with an all Mario game, it'd be...damn, PM: TTYD. Or Maybe M&L: SSS...I forget which I like better now that so much time has passed.

It's hard to believe the original PM was released this decade. That's 3 systems in 10 years.

PM:TTYD, SM64DS and M&L:SS are my favorites. I didn't like Galaxy as much as other people. It was fun, but alot of things were just little annoyances.

I choose....

Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Strikers Charged
Super Mario 64 DS

Tough decision between Mario Kart DS and Mario Strikers Charged, but I chose the latter because I had more fun playing Strikers, thus it wins one of my votes.

As much as I loved Galaxy, I'm gonna go with New SMB Wii.
Super Mario World was my all-time favorite game until it came out. Not sure now.

I honestly didn't care for Galaxy.

I choose Paper Mario, though.
