That means in a fight against the others, he can mess up their magical enhancements with the Star Rod. Also, he's 100% invincible, so stepping on him is useless. #2: It requires immense heroic power, including most of the planet, to override. The other Bowser forms have nothing to do this with and wouldn't do such a thing, resulting in their destruction by Star Rod Bowser. #3: Even when the shield is de-powered, Bowser continually dishes out death rays and other lethal things, making it iffy at best for even Mario with all his help to defeat him, let alone something like Giant Bowser, who would likely run out of steam long before Star Rod Bowser lost his shield. |

So as long as you can keep the Star Rod out of sight, you also have the element of suprise. |
