| Okay, well, after spending most of the day trying to make sense of this thing, I have to admit to being somewhat disappointed. I had hoped the interface (or whatever you'd call it, I don't know) would be more user-friendly, yet I find it to be frustratingly complex and difficult. I haven't managed to make even one microgame yet. On the other hand, there's every likelihood that WarioWare DIY is user-friendly, and I'm the problem. I mean, I don't know how to work an iPod or a Tivo either. I bust my ass just trying to use my word processor sometimes. So don't let my personal affliction of technophobia influence you against this game, because you people with your cell phones and your Photoshop and your Xbox Live might enjoy it to no end. If you're going to buy it, however, make sure you're buying it for the right reason; that is, buy it because you want to make and share microgames. Don't buy it for the pre-made microgames, because they're very sub-par for the series, and there ain't a lot of them either. |
