Candy Kong

First Appearance: Donkey Kong Country (Super NES, 1994)
Latest Appearance: Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast (Wii, 2007)

Donkey Kong's girlfriend Candy is the sugar and spice of the Kong clan; while the rest of the Kongs look at least nominally like apes, Candy more resembles a hairy Pamela Anderson with her blond hair, pouty lips, and huge boobs (the biggest in the Mario universe, probably).

Candy first appeared in Donkey Kong Country as the character who saved your game progress for you. She sat out the subsequent two sequels, then made a bold return in Donkey Kong 64 with a new hairstyle, a trendier outfit, and an overall sexier look. In this capacity she helped the Kongs by providing them with musical instruments and extensions to their life meter. At the game's climax, her bodacious bod was sizzlin' enough to enrapture even the notoriously ape-hating King K. Rool.

For the GBC and GBA remakes of Donkey Kong Country, the player was provided the opportunity to save their progress at will, so Candy dropped her game-saving duties and took up the role of hosting mini-games. In the DKC 2 remake, she appeared as Swanky Kong's glamorous assistant. In Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast, she presented special challenges for Donkey Kong to overcome.

Candy is one of just two Kongs that has yet to debut as a playable character. Swanky (not seen since DKC 3) is the other.

I'm just glad they changed her out of that obnoxious pink bikini and bow.

She couldn't be a driver in Barrel Blast because they'd need to develop specific breast physics for her.
