Game of the Week #37

WarioWare: Smooth Moves (Wii, 2007)

Taking full advantage of the Wii's motion controls, WarioWare: Smooth Moves continues the series tradition of innovation and general wackiness. Like all WarioWare games, Smooth Moves consists of a collection of "microgames" that last only a few seconds apiece. This time, however, the game requires the player to hold the Wii Remote in various different positions, called "Forms", in order to best complete the microgames. Some of these Forms include The Waiter (balancing the Remote on the flat of your hand); The Umbrella (holding the Remote in a completely vertical position, as you would an umbrella handle); The Sketch Artist (holding the Remote like a pen); and The Boxer (clutching the Remote horizontally in your fist).

Here's a gameplay video.
