Although the Princess is an adult now, this doesn't stop Toadsworth from laying down the law whenever Her Royal Pinkness gets it into her head to go off on an adventure. The elderly Toadsworth (according to Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, he's sixty) is quite the worrywart, and goes absolutely to pieces whenever he believes the Princess to be in even the slightest peril; crying, fainting, and losing himself in nervous breakdowns are all par for the course for Toadsworth whenever Bowser comes a-calling. Like many of Mario's supporting players, Toadsworth has enjoyed an expanding role over the years. He served as umpire in Mario Power Tennis, he hosted the various game boards in Mario Party 7, and he was a playable character in Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers. In New Super Mario Bros. for DS, he provided Mario with handy Power-Ups and 1-Ups. |

He also seems to serve as an advisor. |

I like it when you talk to Toadsworth in Super Mario Sunshine and he says, "Ya bla bla bla bla bla bla!" ![]() |
