E3 2010: Nintendo Announces Mario Sports Mix

At this morning's Nintendo press conference, the company announced Mario Sports Mix. The game includes famous Nintendo characters playing volleyball, hockey, dodgeball, and basketball in the over-the-top style of Mario Strikers. It's not due out until 2011, but the variety of games included could make for a nice package. Stick around for more coverage from Nintendo's conference and from E3 2010.

Naw, because it doesn't include sports that Mario plays in other titles (except for basketball, which is the subject of Mario Hoops 3-on-3 for DS).

And yet you still bought them, paid for them, spent money on them.
They made them, sold them, and received vast quantities of money from them.

Now that they soaked up all the money from them that they could have, they're putting it all onto one new and improved game, so the cycle can start all over again.

It's called marketing, and it's very douchey, but it works for them so don't expect it to let up anytime soon.
