Booster

The Mario Universe is packed to overflowing with all manner of wacky characters. Booster, however...well, Booster is something else again. I mean, this guy is insane. Seriously, he's just not right in the head. I'm surprised Dr. Mario hasn't diagnosed him with a case of galloping schizophrenia.

Descended from a long line of Boosters, Booster inhabits a tall tower of "amusement" a few clicks outside of Moleville. He lives there with his gang of Snifits, and plays around all day with his train set and other toys. When Princess Toadstool (recently expelled from Bowser's castle by the force of Smithy's arrival) falls from the sky and lands on his balcony, Booster decides he'd like to marry her. Despite the Princess' protests, Booster shanghais her to the wedding chapel at Marrymore, with Mario in hot pursuit. A lot of crazy stuff follows. In summary, a cake comes to life, Booster eats it, then Booster forgets all about his wedding plans and decides to go home.

Later in the game, after Valentina, the would-be usurper of the Nimbus Land throne, is forced to flee that cloudy kingdom, she finds herself at Booster's door. Of course, Booster decides he'd like to marry her. Somewhat surprisingly, Valentina proves more receptive to the idea than Princess Toadstool was. However, has Booster finally bitten off more than he can chew?
