No, it sounds like Yoshi in every game made since Yoshi's Story.

THIS. AND FOR SOME UNKNOWN ****ING REASON, NINTENDO STILL USES THE BABY YOSHI MODEL. **** YOU, NINTENDO.

Seriously, Yoshi used to be a rad, laid-back dinosaur you could ride around, who had bloody super powers whenever he ate the right color koopa troopa:

Now he looks like he's got the downs and he somehow ****s eggs constantly. Way to ruin a good thing.

I was really excited when I first played NSMBWii and they used the old Yoshi voice. I thought they were tossing out the baby voice and were going back to their awesome roots.

Then Galaxy 2 came out.

The egg thing is all right, because that was instrumental to SMW 2: Yoshi's Island, which is still one of the best games ever.

True, for SMW2 at least. Terrible as a sequel to SMW, though. Shame we had to wait until NSMBW for one of those.

I see the whole thing as a Slippy kind of scenario. Started off good (or better than good) and then quickly did an about-face to march into lamesville when Miyamoto became a father.

Have you ever considered not charging directly into the enemies, Glux?

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

LoL Well, the spiders I tried going over, and that one green Shy Guy on stilts caught me by surprise, other than that the rest are just *DURP*.

Besides, you're talking to the guy who asked "So you just get eggs and throw them at him?"
