6 Degrees of Super Mario

Is Mario really the centre of the videogaming universe?

Let's find out.

Based on the popular Movie trivia game, "6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon," you will have to try and make a connection between a certain videogame character and Mario using 6 steps or less.

The links can only be made using chracters, games, and companies.

So let's begin with an easy one:
Black Mage

Black mage was in Final Fantasy, which was made by Square, who made Super Mario RPG.

Appeared in the X-Box version of Soul Calibur II, that also was released for Nintendo Gamecube, starring Link, who is owned by Nintendo, that owns Mario, too.

Spawn was in the Xbox version of SCII. The GCN version of the same game had Link who made a cameo in SMRPG, a game in which Mario starred.

Gimli was in LOTR video games, which were on the Gamecube, which exclusively has Mario games.

Gimli is in the LotR games made by EA, EA makes the new James Bond games, the James Bond game Goldeneye was made by Rare, Rare makes Donkey Kong games, Donkey Kong made his first appearence with Mario in Donkey Kong.
