Once my hands got used to the system it was mostly alright. Main problem for me seems to be the buttons: my right thumb stings my extended use. |

Almost 100% of the time, the game chooses a camera angle that allows you to use the 3-D controls to their full potential. That was one of my favorite parts of the game--unlike 3D Mario games past, where the camera was something you fought with and struggled to make good, the camera in Mario 3D Land is actually a part of the gameplay. And no, I wouldn't have liked Other-M style controls. I think they did just right with this one. |
