Guys, are you finding the controls a bit iffy at all, would it feel better with a real Analogue or locked directional controls like Other M? How would you say it compares to NSMB: Wii?

I think I'd prefer an analog stick, but the slide-pad is decent. Once my hands got used to the system it was mostly alright. Main problem for me seems to be the buttons: my right thumb stings my extended use.

The controls haven't given me a problem at all. Almost 100% of the time, the game chooses a camera angle that allows you to use the 3-D controls to their full potential.

That was one of my favorite parts of the game--unlike 3D Mario games past, where the camera was something you fought with and struggled to make good, the camera in Mario 3D Land is actually a part of the gameplay.

And no, I wouldn't have liked Other-M style controls. I think they did just right with this one.

There's an invisible block with a Statue Leaf in it over one of the trampolines that makes for a killer shortcut.

By the way, my record for World 7-1 is 5 seconds.

I've been using the hidden block. I also slow myself down because every time I go there I go for the first tanooki leaf, too. I should just go straight through and see how fast I go.

I think 7-1 for me is 7 seconds.

Special World - I just got to Special World 8. I'm trying to get all of the Star Coins, which is a bit of a challenge. I'm looking forsard to seeing what the REAL final levelmis like. Luigi's a lot of fun to use- Mario's getting ignored right now.
