I mean, come on, 7 star spirits, 7 lands, 7 bosses, 7 koopalings...SEE A PATTERN? But noo.....Nintendo had to put in these dumb bosses!! Has Nintendo completely forgotten those little koopas, or what? |

Seriously, the seven koopalings have too much alike, and it was better that Nintendo made new characters that fit the theme of each world to be the boss. Also, the Ninjakoopas and Jr. Troopa both P\/\/N3D the Koopa kids. | |

You don't know what your talking about, heh. Koopa Bros, Tutankoopa, General Guy, and Jr. Troopa(he just wouldn't give up, heh) were all mentioned. Then Lava Pirhana, Crystal King... At least they were being original and not just reusing. --------------------------------- ~Gamer Chris ![]() |

I like innovation. SMS was one of the more different Mario games to come out in awhile. If I'd had to just stomp Koopalings instead of bloating Petey or ripping of the Giant Squid's tentacles, or racing Il Piantissimo, I'd have been dissappointed in SMS. I, for one, though SMS was sweet. It's just, it suffers from SMW Syndrome: A mere technological upgrade following a massive super brilliant hit (SMB3 vs SM64). They'll hit gold again when they do something else original. |

The main reason people wanted the Koopalings is to replace Junior, not the other bosses. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

It only proves you need more than just more polygons and larger levels to make a smash-hit game. Ya gotta keep it new. Mario games seem to go "Big hit, small hit, big hit, small hit." SMB, SMB2, SMB3, SMW, SML2 (SML hardly counts, but it was a pretty big game), YI, SM64, SMS. By order, if they put effort into this next one and use some real new tricks, we'll be set to be blown away. Hee hee. Can't wait. *wriggles* |
