Favorite Mario Kart item?

A while ago, I made a thread about peoples' least favorite items in the Mario Kart series. Now, let's talk about your favorites. What items do you love to get more than any other?

I for one have grown to love Bob-ombs. They're excellent when placed in choke points, and there's nothing more fun than dropping a Bob-omb right in someone's face as you pass them like a douche. Aside from that, the Red Shells are good for keeping people out of my way, and the Mega Mushroom and Star are fun for obvious reasons.

What're your favs?

I personally like the blue shell. It's great for destroying friendships, ruining lives, and ending relationships, plus it has a cool explosion and it doesn't require effort to use.

I ****ing hate that blue abomination. Ruins every lead for me, yet does nothing for me when I use it. Not Triple Red Shells though, they're too precious to waste.

Well, if you mean in general, I think they've thoroughly nerfed or made irritating the item functions since MK64, so there's not really one I can like.

So I guess that leaves the feather. It hasn't changed a bit.

I liked the Blue Shell in 64. But that's it.

I still love the Lightning and the Mega Mushroom, along with the Star and Ghost. Yeah, I'm a sucker for power. Atleast the last four are balanced somewhat.
