Watching these things is like a guilty pleasure. Keep it up, Glyph. EDIT: Wanna know how to make the angry smiley look even more retarded? Highlight it and it looks like it's yelling. Nintendo won't get mad at me because this game is a homage to them and they will probably give me a job for it. If Brian Clevinger and Jay Resop can do their little comics online, then I can do this game WHETHER YOU OR YOUR FANBOYS LIKE IT OR NOT. I came back here not expecting any support what-so-ever which proves that people like you are all too predictable. Christ has much relevance in the world today as He did many aeons ago regardless of season. I think you really hate me because I am Christian and am doing something that you can't or just plain won't. Obvious answer: leave you jerks in the dust and go search another forum or do it entirely myself. Oh, and my grammar doesn't suck; people make mistakes. (How could you mistake my anger for my story? Are you that stupid?) Sorry if my picture never turned out. I kept in bitmap to keep its true colors. |

But considering your failure to do as much as make a picture link correctly, I'd be surprised if you can make any sort of game. Also, way to jump to seemingly random and definately stupid conclusions. Heh. Waste of time. You're at a video game forum. We're all wasting our time here. |

| Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2002 Location: Texas Posts: 86 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Hey, hey, hold on! I'm not actually angry anymore. In fact,... I actually feel very guilty about raising my text to you about it, Glyph. You see, I just reread your first post and I see your point concerning voicework. It IS pretty stupid of me to even be thinking about in the first stages of development and it SHOULD be the furthest thing from my mind right now. So, I'm sorry. I also didn't realize that you couldn't download the picture from the photobucket link. I didn't find out until I tried it for myself. I have uploaded the picture on the message board, but it appears to have shrunk anyway. Hopefully, you can download it there. Anyway, I DO know about PNGs, but my computer does not seem to support the image formats. I also shouldn't have gone off the deep end and accused you right away. Especially since I don't know you too well. Also, I'm just not ashamed of expressing my religion, is all. You don't need to call me a stupid evangelist over that. Also, in the event that Nintendo DOES get fed up with me, they can't find me because I have been very careful not to drop my e-mail address anywhere and haven't given out who I actually am so I can't be traced. Yeah, the more than likely won't give me a job, but in Japan, a tribute to someone else's work is actually highly thought of. (You can read about this in Rurouni Kenshin graphic novels notes from Nobuhiro Watsuki) so they might only ask me if they can buy my characters that I have created for the game. (Yeah, I did create some original characters for the game). Anyway, I'd like to once more apologize to you Glyph and anyone else who has posted here. I hope that some day we can be friends instead of enemies (life is too short for us to be at each other's throats and I've a lot to learn about constructive criticism). Hopefully, next time I present this idea, I will do a better job. Heheh. Yeah, it DOES actually look a lot like the angry smiley is screaming when you highlight it! How does: "Rejoice; Celebrate; Worship" sound for a new catch phrase, instead? |

I think that geting something out of the way is a good step. But Voice Acting is somthing that you need to get done eventually. When you need some help, I can tweak my voice around and create different voices, probably for you personal characters, and a few of the Ninty ones too. Just activate PMs in your account and send one to me with a listing of the characters' names and what you want them to say. I will try to do my best, then send you the files via E-Mail (which you'll give me if you decide to use me. I won't spam your address.) Here are the ones I think I can pull off: Mario* Luigi* Yoshi** Mallow Geno Iron Knuckle Bowser Ganondorf * these are easier because I am Italian. ** I can do this voice easy using Sound Recorder's Echo. |

Anyway, Alucard, I'll see about it. However, voicework is something I'll need to look into later. I'll look you up when I think the game calls for it... Sasuke Yakamochi (pron. SAH-SKAY - an evil fox samurai on Corneria who appears to be a LOT like Shishio), Hiei and Kanryu Nobunaga (the Kabuki twins; they have high pitched voices, just so you know), Satsuma Ishida (the dark Yamato Feng Sui master; can control corpses as marionettes and doesn't really turn them into zombies), Hyoe Musashi (a corrupt politician; doesn't ever fight, so he's more of an NPC), Tao/NUS 9200 (a droid created for assassination), Yun Juu (a shape-shifting demon who has the ability to possess psychics and feed on their unique brain waves)... These are the characters created for Fox's scenario in case anyone was wondering who they were. |

They sound more like something that would go in a Final Fantasy game. Mainly, because all of that "dark" crap (I don't expect to see a shapshifting DEMON and a guy who can turn CORPSES into MARIONETTES in the next Starfox game), and the fact that their names all sound Japanese. Starfox is notorious for having names like "Bill", "Katt" and "Panther". Not anything like "Sasuke", "Satsuma" or "Hyoe". [ June 14, 2005, 06:01 AM: Message edited by: Bandit ] |
