Super Mario 63

If you haven't seen it yet, this is a Flash game that incorporates Super Mario 64 elements and a loose design of the original game into a 2 dimensional platformer. It doesn't control especially similar to SMB, instead staying closer to the original 64 style. Oh, and FLUDD makes an appearance (since keyboard platformers can be pretty tricky), but it's as a hover jump exclusively, not for cleaning up graffiti.

FLUDD outta nowhere.

Holy hell, this flash is old.

This was pretty popular back then. I wonder why Nintendo's lawyers didn't go after the creators like they did with Super Mario Bros. X.

^^They didn't go after ExplodingRabbit for Mario Crossover.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Not only was Super Mario X able to do practically everything from their own official 2-D games, but it was able to do some stuff better.
On top of that it was also an increadibly easy to use editor that virtually anyone could use to make their own mario games with very little effort.

I can understand why nintendo would be threatened by that.

These flash games are cool, but they don't directly compete with Nintendo's games.
