Exactly. Most of us don't play Japan only games, and a lot of SSB players will be wondering who the hell he is, just like Marth and Roy in SSBM (they kicked serious ass though). And truthfully, I didn't know who the hell Ness was until SSB.

This update confirmed some more Mario moves, a new stage, that Snake can hide under boxes and some more Snake moves.

I'm pretty excited about Lucas. My only problem with it is that it's possible Ness won't be returning. Because that would suck.

I can't wait to get home so I can watch those Metal Gear videos.

I'm finding the Metal Gear convos almost criminally cheesy. I know Snake needs the info to play catch-up, but to anyone who's already familiar with this stuff, it's just awkward, unnecessary, redundant exposition. I hope they don't cut into the actual fighting.
...Except for the one about Wario; that was just awesome.

The stage & the combat clip were cool, though.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

There was supposedly something like this for Fox ( and Falco ) on the Corneia stage in Melee. But if it was actually there it was impossibly hard to activate. They might do the same thing with Snake.

Well it's sort of wasted then. I spent a half hour trying to activate Fox's communication and it would not work. I would guess that while it won't be poping up every two seconds it will probably be triggered by (a Snake is getting his but kicked by one of the characters or (b Snake gets caught in the light a few times. And I doubt they will do it if Snake is a CPU player so regardless of how annoying it is it shouldn't be somthing that you will have to worry about.
